| Description | In accordance with Governors’ regulations, Hannah informs Clark that the account for the half year Tithe Rentcharge, due 1 April 1936, has now been balanced. On that date, the books were closed and it was found that owing to uncollected arrears a sum of £3:14:6 had been overpaid to Clark on this account. This sum had been carried forward on the tithe account and any credits have been set against it.
