Description | Confirmation of an inspection made on the Church. Dry rot has set in the whole of the woodwork, flooring and seating and has travelled up the walls about 5 ft. behind the plaster into the joints of the stone. Problems with the lead roof allow leaks and condensation has formed under the lead which then drips into the church in many places. All pews and wood flooring, including the pulpit, underneath will need to be destroyed and the lead roof needs to be removed and waterproofing laid on the boards under the lead.
