DescriptionCorrespondence and other papers relating to the erection of an altar and churchyard Calvary war memorial, new three-light window at the West end of the South aisle and an interior tablet in commemoration of the war effort including correspondence with Edward Warren of 20 Bedford Square, London, architect (and some related correspondents - builders, the bishop of Worcester and members of the War Memorial Committee) re designs, specifications, inscriptions, estimates etc. and discussing alternative proposals (exterior stone tablet, memorial cross, chapel tablet et al). There are also references to the repair of the tower windows, the bench ends scheme and the erection of a rood or rood screen. The correspondence with Warren includes several references to his personal life, 26 Sep 1918 - 15 Dec 1920 (DR0426/46/1-68), receipt slips, vouchers and certificates for payment etc. re work done to the memorial, 18 Oct 1919 - 19 Nov 1920 (DR0426/46/69-83) and typescript Cash Account of the Lillington War Memorial Committee, 25 Feb 1919 - 1 Feb 1921 (DR0426/46/84).
