Ltd of Southam, 1920-2 (DR0852/10/39-41); correspondence and other papers re lease of mineral rights to Rugby Portland Cement Co. Ltd, 1945-66 (DR0852/10/49-536). Correspondents include the Ecclesiastical Commissioners; their mining agent, E.C. Hamilton-Russell; Messrs Rayner and Fedeski, Diocesan Surveyors, and Messrs James Harrison and Sons, land agents to the then Rector, the Rev. R.T. Murray. The correspondence particularly concerns the maintenance of farm buildings at Rectory Farm, which was severely affected by blasting operations. The farm buildings were eventually abandoned and the farm combined with Briar Farm to make one holding known as Glebe Farm, with a new farm house and building, in 1965.
