DescriptionThomas Archer, baron Umberslade and John Burman, the elder, late of Tanworth, now of Boteley in Wootton Wawen, yeomen (surviving trustees for the Parish Properties and the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor (trustees ex officio) to Andrew Archer of Umberslade, the Vicar of Tanworth and 15 other parishioners. Cottage, gardens etc. at a place called Ratherum in Tanworth Cottage at Aspley Heath (both given by Thomas Archer). Birch croft with its messuage (John Digby). Rent charge of 40s. from Julian Leyes (Dolphin's) and penalty of 4s. (John Bolt). Rent charge of 20s. from Shaw's Orchard (Edmund Clarke). £6 given by Thomas Masters. £5 given by Mary Weale. 40s. issuing from lands of the City of Coventry (Thomas Whately), 2 newly erected messuages, yard, orchard and church croft built by John Copage. Workhouse, new erected messuage and cottage adjoining. Close (Robert Fulwood) near Wood end with the several houses built on it. Messuage and 2 crofts (Thomas Hewes, clerk) with the cottages on the crofts now inhabited by poor persons. Close at Ilshaw Heath. Messuage and close given by Job Burman. Close of piece of coppice ground and 2 parcels of land. Several cottages in Tanworth at Ratherum, messuage with barns and 2 closes, meadow and mowing ground formerly a marlpit all in Greet in the parish of Yardley, 2 closes in Greet and another parcel in Heanfield (Henry Chambers).
