| Description | Deed of gift by William, Earl of War', to Godwin, mercer of Warw', of a grove between the two Wudechotes (from Pleoumersiche to Pamelwei before the house of Gilbert, and by that way to Holebroch, and from Holbroch descending to the boundary between the Earl and Wudecoten Pincerne, and from that boundary to Pleoumersiche), to be held of the earl and his heirs freely, quietly and honorably in wood, field, pasture with toll, theme, "thac", sake, soke and all liberties, for the annual rent of a pound of pepper at Christmas, in consideration of 22 shillings.
