DescriptionIndenture of lease by Simon, son of Roger Simondes of Wodecote, to his tenant John Twynere of the same, of a capital tenement, late of Roger Simondes, with a croft called Cokkescroft, a toft with curtilage called Mariotteshous, two tofts with two crofts called Muchel Ruydynges and Luytel Ruydinges, a croft called Botellers Croftes, containing 26 selions of land, with hedges, ditches and appurtenances in Woodcote, to be held for a term of 7 years, at the annual rents of 28 shillings to Simon and his heirs and 12d to the Earl of Warwick, with Simon having the right to gather wood for hedging and building purposes through the inspection and delivery of Richard Bykenhull, with clauses relating to arrears in payment, warranty and sealing.
Witnessed by Richard Bykenhull, Henry de Wodelowe, John de Wodelowe his son, John Botiller, John de Wodecote, clerk, and others.
Dated at Wodecote, Wednesday on the feast of the Translation of St Swithin 7 Ric II.
