Description | Indenture of lease between Lucy who was the widow of Henry de Wodelow, and John, Henry's son and heir, whereby John is bound to Lucy in 8 marks sterling to be paid at Warr' on the next feast day of St Thomas the Apostle [21 Dec 1393] and if John pays Lucy 9 marks, she grants him all her dower, everything in and of the manor of Wodelowe, and its buildings, lands, meadows, pastures, woods, hedges and ditches, for the term of 6 years from the feast of Saint Michael next following [29 Sep 1394]; after the term of 6 years, he is to pay 20 shillings (in two equal instalments) for the rest of her life.
