Description | Deed of gift by John Wodelowe of Warrewik, lord of Wodelowe, to Thomas Huggeford, esquire, William Berkeswell, priest, and their heirs, of his manor of Wodelowe near Warrewik, with all its lands, tenements, rents, liberties, services, meadows, grazing lands, pastures, woods and groves (excluding lands lying in "le geldable" which were given to the ancestors of Richard "de bello campo" [Beauchamp], Earl of Warwick), in exchange for lands within the park of Wegenok [Wedgnock Park], as well as 3 crofts called Mighelles Croftes and 12 acres of land in 3 parts of Wodelowefeld (lately acquired from Hugh Pole) and one croft called Starelles Croft (lately acquired from Richard Starell) all at Wodelowe, to be held for ever but paying to Joyce, John's daughter, the annual rent of 40 shillings for as long as she lives after his death, to be held of the capital lord of the fee, with clauses of warranty and sealing.
