DescriptionDeed of gift by Thomas Huggeford, esquire, and William Berkeswell, priest, to John Wodelowe of Warrewik, of the manor of Wodelowe iuxta Warrewik, with all its lands, holdings, rents, liberties, services, meadows, grazing lands, pastures, woods and groves, as well as 3 crofts called Mighelles Croftes, one croft called Starelles Croft and 12 acres of land, all at Wodelowe (to be held for ever but paying to Joyce Wodelowe the annual rent of 40 shillings for as long as she lives after John's death), to be held of the capital lord of the fee, with clauses for the succession of the estate after John's death passing to his wife Joan Wodelowe, then to his nephew George Herthill, then to George's younger brother Richard Herthill, then to George's elder brother John Herthill, then to George's parents Thomas and Alice Herthill, then to George's younger sister Elizabeth, then to George's elder sister Joyce Banhum, then to Richard "de bello campo" [Beauchamp], Earl of Warwick and his heirs, with clause of sealing.
Witnesses: John Porter deacon of the church of St Mary of Warrewic, Thomas Estoop master of the guild of Warric, John Upton one of the bailiffs of Warrewic, Richard Eton of Warrewik, William Hopkyns of the same, and many others.

Endorsed with brief title description and date, also numbered "W.19" in ink.
Seals: two, red, round, one with the device of a deer's head, the other with one of a pelican, attached by tags.
