DescriptionIndenture of bargain and sale by John Broun of Warwick to Alice Maiell, lately wife of John Maiell the elder of Warr', John Maiell of the same and master John Walker, of the " chief meseplace of Wodelowe besyde Warr'", with all lands, tenements, rents, reversions, services, meadows, pastures and woods with appurtenances, a tenement in Warr' and other lands in Wodecote and Wutton called Bosworth (the tenement and other lands having been part of an exchange with Richard, late Earl of Warwick), in consideration of 125 marks to be paid to Alice before next Christmas and 125 marks to be paid to John Maiell and John Walker before next Easter, for the annual rent of 10 marks to be paid for the rest of Alice's life, with clauses for distraint after one year's arrears of rent, for Alice to have 30 cartfuls of wood from Broun's wood at Baddesley each year, and for sealing.
