Description | Deed of letters of attorney by which Henry Wodelowe, lord of Wodelowe, appoints John Whatcote, clerk of Warr', to deliver to William Southam, parson of the church of St Nicholas, Warr' and lord [Ralph] Morton, perpetual vicarage of the church of Gitebrok, a messuage with croft and toft of arable land which were once of William Boveton and a messuage and croft once of [?] Roger Brounye in Wodelowe, and annual rent of 16 pence coming from a tenement with croft in Warr'. Dated at Warr', Friday after the feast of St Michael 7 Ric II. Endorsements in later hands refer to (i) a rent of 16d for a tenement at Warwick, (ii) lands being once of "Boveton' & Brouney" after Henry de Wodelowe, and (iii) giving possession to William Southam and Ralph Morton of a messuage, etc in Wodlowe and a rent of 16d in Warwick: also numbered "W.10" in ink.
