Description | Deed of gift (but with action clause of lease) by Thomas Burdet, esquire, William Harewell, esquire, Thomas Shirley, esquire, Richard Halle, William Leycroft, Thomas Norton, John Walker, chaplain and John Morley, chaplain, the feoffees [i.e. trustees] of John Brome of Raddysley [sic, for Baddesley], to Thomas Brome, son and heir of John Brome, of all his manors in Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, of the manor of Wodelow, and several tenements and lands, etc in the town of Warwick [described separately below], the estate passing successively if Thomas dies, to his brother Nicholas Brome, then to his brother John Brome, then to John Brome of Baddysley, to be held of the capital lord of the fee, with clauses for the appointment of John Bernard' and John Pegge as attorneys to deliver seisin and for sealing.
