DescriptionIndentures of deeds for suffering a recovery by Robert Broome of Woodlowe in the parish of St Nicholas, Warwick, esquire, and William Habberfeild of Lyons Inn, Middlesex, gentleman, to Thomas Younge of London, gentleman, and Roger Anningley of Woodlowe, yeoman, of the manor of Woodlowe, with appurtenances, [250] acres of land, 80 acres of meadow, 300 acres of pasture, 90 acres of wood, 100 acres of heath and furze, common of pasture, with appurtenances in Woodlowe, Overwoodcote and Netherwoodcote, with covenant that certain lands of the above (called the Ox Pasture, the Two Grassy Fields, the Stockfish Field, Bensfords Close, Great Rushbed Meadow, Little Rushbed, the Dowry Field, the Dowry Field Meadow and the Spring Meadow) are to be held for a term of 60 years after the recovery by Bartholomew Byard of Much Ashby alias Ashby Magna, Leicestershire, to the use of Katherine Barford, wife of Robert Barford, esquire, and natural mother of Robert Broome, and after her death to the use of Robert Broome and John Barford of Woodlowe, gentleman, then to the heirs of Robert Broome.
