DescriptionIndenture of lease by Ralph Brome of Wodlowe, esquire, to Reginald Brome his son and heir, gentleman, of the manor house of Woodlowe and its household goods, the manors, lands, holdings, etc, in Woodlowe, Overwoodcote and Netherwoodcote, then in the tenures of Richard Kinge and William Westleye, for a term of 40 years from the feast of the Annunciation last past [25 Mar 1568], with covenants by Reginald to give proper accounts of the profits from the premises twice a year, to provide meat, drink and lodgings to Ralph, to provide for the younger children according to the terms of the last will and testament of Ralph made 18 Mar 10 Eliz [1568], and to keep the premises in good repair, also with a covenant from Ralph to allow Reginald to lop and crop the trees as required.
