Description | Indenture of exchange by release between Edward Willes of Newbold Grange, parish of Leamington Priors, esquire, of the 1st part, and Mary Nutcombe late of the Priory, Warwick, then of Tachbrook House, widow, and Reverend Henry Wise late of the Priory, Warwick, then of Offchurch, clerk, of the 2nd part. Willes gives Nutcombe and Wise a piece of woodland adjoining the boundary of the parishes of Leamington Priors and Lillington containing 2289 and a half square yards, part of a wood in the parish of Leamington Priors known as Barn Wood, part of which piece was to be formed into a road, in exchange for a piece of land in the parish of Lillington containing 6978 square yards, part of which was to be used for the same road, with plan in margin of first membrane, 29 Sep 1825. 2 parchment membranes, with notice attached, in the top left-hand corner, of the Improvement Commissioners of the Town of Leamington Priors to Reverend Henry Wise to make and complete the new road from Benswood Terrace to the Kenilworth New Road, 4 Apr 1843 |
