The Inquisition also established that his wife Jane holds York House in the Strand, Middlesex, John died on the last day of April last past, and that Thomas Puckering was his son and heir, then aged 4 years old.

[Sir John Puckering was a sergant at law, who was knighted by Queen Elizabeth and made Keeper of the Great Seal. He died on 30 Apr 1596.]
