DescriptionIndentures of assignment of two mortgage terms of 500 and 400 years in trust to attend the freehold and inheritance between Dame Jane Bowyer of the Priory in or near Warwick, widow, of the 1st part, Vincent Grantham of Goltho, Lincolnshire, esquire, and his son Richard Grantham of Goltho, esquire, of the 2nd part, Sir Charles Holt of Aston near Birmingham, baronet, William Bromley of Baginton, esquire, William Colmore of the borough of Warwick, esquire, and Henry Jephcott of the Priory in or near the borough of Warwick, gent, of the 3rd part, Henry Wise of Brompton Park, parish of Kensington, Middlesex, esquire, of the 4th part, and Edward Willes of Clifford Inn, London, gent, and Joseph Carpenter of the parish of Kensington, gardener, of the 5th part, whereby Holt, Bromley, Colmore and Jephcott, by direction of Lady Bowyer and the Granthams, assign the two mortgage terms to Willes and Carpenter in trust for Lady Bowyer for life, then after her death to Henry Wise, of the manor and rectory of Lillington, the advowson of the churches of Lillington and Leamington Priors, the manors of Lillington, Woodlow and Woodcote, the messuage called Woodlowes House, and all their appurtenances, in consideration of 5 shillings paid by Willes and Carpenter to Holt and the others of the 3rd part, with recital of indenture of 14 Nov 1693.
