Description | Indenture of bargain and sale from William Tipper and Robert Dawe of London, gentlemen, to Thomas Crompton and Thomas Morryson, esquires, of a messuage with garden at Saltesforde in the borough of Warr', with plot of land which once had a cottage late or then in the tenure of Alice Cator, widow, a parcel of meadow called Spitle Milne Holme in St Nicholas Meadow, a close of 2 crofts called Pigwell or Lovelles Feildes near Saltesforde in the suburbs of Warr' in the tenure of Oliver Faunces, lands which were part of the pasture called le Aspes lying beyond Fourde Milne towards Tachbroke in the lordship of Tachbroke in the tenure of John and Michael Olney, and a cottage with garden in Saltesforde in the borough of Warr' in the tenure of John Dyche, to be held in free socage as of the Queen's manor of East Greenwich, in consideration of a certain sum of money, with recital of letters patent dated 30 Mar 34 Eliz [1592] granting Tipper and Dawe all messuages, lands, etc in Berkeswell, Moreton and elsewhere in Warwickshire once of Richard, Earl of Warwick, and Anne his wife. 20 June 37 Eliz [1595].
