| Description | Indenture of release by Henry Christopher Wise of Woodcote, esquire, and Henry Eyres Landor of Bishops Tachbrook, gent, executors of the last will and testament of Reverend Henry Wise, deceased, of the 1st part, and the said Henry Christopher Wise in his capacity of residuary trustee under the said will, of the 2nd part, to Reverend George Ernest Howman formerly of Sonning, "Bucks" [mistake for Berkshire], then of Barnesley, Gloucestershire, clerk, and Reverend Frederick Townsend of Wellesbourne, clerk, of the 3rd part, of the manors and hereditaments comprised in a term of 1000 years, with Howman and Townsend being discharged from the payment of £11254 to Mary Nutcombe, which was bequeathed in her will to Henry Wise.
Recitals include the indentures of 18-19 June 1828 for the marriage of Henry Christopher Wise and his wife Harriett, various indentures, Act of Parliament relating to estate devised by the will of Matthew Wise, and agreement of Henry Wise having already been paid the £11254.
