DescriptionIndenture of grant by Sir Thomas Puckering of Warwick, knight and baronet, of the 1st part, to John Ley of Great Budworth, Cheshire, clerk, of the 2nd part, and Thomas Marbury of Marbury, Cheshire, esquire, and John Walthall of Antrobus, Cheshire, gent, of an annuity of £20 arising out of several closes of land and meadow called Mereland, the Forse Ground, the Great Ground, Priest Meadow, Ramshead Meadow, Fowlewell Meadow and Forse Meadow, to be held for a term of 80 years during the lives of Mary, wife of John Ley and late wife of Nicholas Chowne, gent, deceased, their son John Chowne and their daughter Elizabeth Chowne, in consideration of £200, with which the annuity is purchased, to be held by Marbury and Walthall.
