DescriptionIndenture of bargain and sale to make a tenant to the precipe for suffering a common recovery between Roger Price of Westbury, Buckinghamshire, esquire, and Thomas Bethell of London, gent, of 6 messuages in Stephens Alley in the parish of St Margaret, Westminster, a messuage and close of ground containing 5 acres in the parish of St Martin in the Fields, Middlesex (in the tenure of William Peare the elder, Margaret his wife, and William Peare the younger), a messuage with garden called the New Neat House in the said parish of St Martin, a parcel of meadow containing 10 acres lately enclosed and part of Abbots Meadow, and 11 acres 3 roods of meadow and 7 cartloads of hay in the said parishes of St Margaret and St Martin (late in the tenure of John Packer), Bethell being made tenant of the freehold so that a recovery can be made against him, in consideration of 5 shillings.
