DescriptionIndenture of mortgage by demise by Sir Thomas Puckeringe of Warwick, knight and baronet, to Francis Metcalfe of Louth Park, Lincolnshire, esquire, of the house, site and precincts of the lately dissolved abbey of Louth Park and its lands [further described] and messuages, lands, etc in Louth Park, Louth, Kennyngton alias Keddington, Alvingham, Cockerington, Conam alias Covenham, Conisholme, Calthorpe, Somercotes, and Saltfleetby alias Sallowby, all in Lincolnshire, to be held for a term of 98 years at the annual rent of a peppercorn, with provision for the indenture to be voided upon certain payments (£110 on 5 June 1617, £220 on 5 June 1618, £220 on 5 June 1619 and £2310 on 6 Dec 1619), with recital of lease dated 3 Dec last past from Francis Metcalfe to Sir Thomas Puckeringe for a term of 99 years.
