| Description | Indentures of assignment by Hannah Battesson, widow of John Battesson, confectioner, Elizabeth Battesson, only daughter and a surviving devisee of the will of John Battesson, confectioner, and Joseph Battesson, only son and another surviving devisee of the will of John Battesson, all of the borough of Warwick, to Thomas Wight of Birmingham, grocer, of the residue of several terms of 500 years,relating to the waterworks, engines, cistern, pipes and all related materials (except for the waterhouse then converted unto a dwelling house at the top of Sheep Street) for the town of Warwick, at the annual rent of £5, in consideration of £100, with recitals of indentures and the wills of the Battesson family.
Endorsed with memorandum of agreement by Thomas Wight to supply the cistern then converted into a dwelling house at the top of Sheep Street with water without receiving anything for the residue of a term of 500 year.
