| Description | Indenture of assignment by John Hopkins of Birmingham, ironmonger, to Moreton Slaney, gent, Robert Mansell, cutler, Isaac Spooner, ironmonger, all of Birmingham, Richard Parkes of Wednesbury, Staffordshire, ironmonger, and John Piddock of the parish of Birmingham, baker, of the residue of two terms of 500 years, relating to the mills, springs, streams, lean-to stable, powers, licences, etc for the water supply to the inhabitants of Warwick, as laid out in indentures of two leases dated 10 and 12 March 1693 [by modern calendar 1694], in consideration of the debts of John Hopkins and the acceptance of 15 shillings in the pound by his creditors and those of Thomas Kemsey, woodmonger, and Thomas Fairfax, gent.
