DescriptionIndenture of lease by Sir Henry Puckering alias Newton of the Priory in or near Warwick, baronet, to Robert Davys the younger of Leek Wootton, husbandman, of a messuage called the Woodhouse and close in which it stands called the House Close (4 acres), and several other closes lands called the Foxberries (49 acres), Grassy Fields (35 acres), the Broome Close or Sheepcoate Leasowe (15 acres), a little close being part of the Cow Pasture at the north end adjoining the Upper Foxberry (5 acres) and the Great Rushbed Meadow, all at Woodcote in the parish of Leek Wootton, to be held from the next feast of the Annunciation [25 Mar 1662] for a term of 21 years, at the annual rent of £68, with an additional 40 shillings for each acre if Davys ploughs up the Great Rushbed Meadow, ploughs the closes and premises more than 6 times, or has more than 60 acres in tillage.

Endorsed as being a lease of Woodhouse Farm at Woodcote to Robert Davies the younger and that it was surrendered on 11 Nov 1681.
