DescriptionIndenture of lease by Matthew Wise of the Priory in or near the borough of Warwick, esquire, to William Bodington of Ashow, yeoman, of a messuage and several closes of land called the Home Close, the First Broom Field, North Broom Field, the Second Broom Field, Bensons Leasows, the Hill Close, the Further Grassy Close, the Hither Grassy Close, the Parkgate Close, Great Foxberry Close, Lower Foxberry Close, the Pingle, the Little Foxberry Close, the Little Close, the Great Rushbed Meadow, Little Rushbed Meadow, the Upper Meadow, Further Foxberry, the Hither Colewood, the Whitehouse Close, the Heath Close, Further Colewood Close, the Park Close and the Merrydew Close, with barns, stables, gardens, etc, all containing 227 acres 27 perches (reserving all timber, trees, etc) in Woodcote in the parish of Leek Wootton , to be held from 25 March next for a term of 21 years, at the annual rent of £122.

Endorsed with memorandum of assignment by William Boddington with the consent of Matthew Wise to Robert Perkes of Stoneleigh, yeoman, subject to a bond of Bodington and Perkes in £400 to Wise for the performance of the rents, covenants, etc as in the original lease, unwitnessed, 1 August 1752.
