| Description | Counterpart indenture of lease by Matthew Wise of the Priory in the borough of Warwick, esquire, to Thomas Birch of the Woodloes in the parish of St Nicholas in the borough of Warwick, yeoman, of the capital messuage or mansion house called Woodloes House in the Woodloes in the parish of St Nicholas in the borough of Warwick, with all barns, stables, gardens, etc, and several closes in or near the Woodloes and five meadows containing 8 and a half acres called Bagots Meadows, part of the Priory Land, all containing in total 143 acres (reserving all the tops of trees, bushes, mines, fishing, etc), to be held from 25 March last for a term of 21 years, at the annual rent of £214 10s, with additional £10 for every acre of greensward ploughed or converted into tillage and £10 for every acre sown with woad, weld, rape, hemp or flax, with several provision or covenants for termination (determinable after 7 or 14 years), husbandry, maintenance, etc.
