| Description | Counterpart indenture of lease from Matthew Wise of the Priory in the borough of Warwick, esquire, to John Foord Naish of the Woodloes in the parish of Leek Wootton, gentleman, of a messuage, farm, barns, stables, gardens, several closes of land and premises in the parish of Leek Wootton containing 229 acres, late in the occupation of William Parks and then of John Foord Naish (reserving all mines, quarries, minerals, timber, trees, fishing, etc), to be held from 25 March last for a term of 21 years, at the annual rent of £340, with an additional £10 for every acre ploughed or brought into tillage in closes called the Orchard, Great Rushbed Meadow, Little Rushbed Meadow, Further Colewood and Barn Close, £10 for every acre ploughed in Hither Grass Close, £10 for every acre sown with woad, weld, rape, hemp or flax, and £10 for every acre permitted to stand with clover, with several provisions or covenants for termination (determinable after 7 or 14 years), husbandry, maintenance, etc.
