DescriptionCounterpart indenture of lease by Matthew Wise of the Priory in or near the borough of Warwick, esquire, to Edward Nicholls of the parish of Lillington, yeoman, of a messuage, with barns, stables, gardens, etc, old inclosures adjoining the messuage and up to the Pound on the north side of the Common Street of Lillington, the Tithe Barn and Yard on the north side of the Common Street, 3 closes formerly taken out of the Lillington Common Field called the Nether Field, a close of land bounded partly by the roads to Leamington and Warwick, and 7 other closes taken out of the same Lillington Common Field [premises further described], containing 168 acres 1 perch, all in the parish of Lillington (reserving all timber, trees, etc), to be held from 25 March next for a term of 21 years, at the annual rent of £84, with an additional £5 for each acre ploughed and £5 for each acre sown with rape, flax or hemp seed.
