| Description | Counterpart indenture of lease by Sir Henry Puckering alias Newton of the Priory near the borough of Warwick, baronet, to Thomas Dawkes of Lillington, husbandman, of a messuage, with 3½ yardlands (c126 acres) and several closes called the Broad Close, Pinfold Close, Little Orton, Great Orton and the Over Yard, with all meadows, buildings, etc in the parish of Lillington, the messuage being known as "Wells his Farme", late in the tenure of William Harding and then of Alexander Dawkes (reserving all timber, trees, etc), to be held from the last feast of the Annunciation [25 Mar] for a term of 21 years, at the annual rent of £26, with an additional £5 for every acre of meadow ploughed up.
