DescriptionCounterpart indenture of lease by Henry Wise of Brompton Park, Middlesex, esquire, to William Watts of Oakerton, Oxfordshire, yeoman, of a messuage and several closes of arable, pasture and meadow called the Warren Farm in Moreton alias Moreton Morrell, the individual closes being called Home Close, the Rick Yard, Oak Tree Furlong, Three Gate Field, Hellhole Piece, Lime Kiln Ground, Hellhole Little Meadow, Foxhole Piece, Great Meadow, Great Foxhole Piece, Little Ploughed Ground and Nether Foxhole Piece, containing 300 acres in the tenure of Isaac Gibbs (reserving all the tops of trees, bushes etc, and the getting of limestone and passage to lime kiln or kilns), to be held from 25 March next for a term of 21 years, at the annual rent of £75, with an additional rents of £3 for each acre of meadow ploughed, £3 for every acre of arable land over 140 in tillage , 40 shillings for every acre of arable broken up into tillage in the last 4 years of the term, 40 shillings for every acre neglected or sown with grass seeds in the last 4 years of the term, and £5 for each acre sown with flax, hemp or rape seed.
