DescriptionIndenture of lease by Sir Thomas Puckering of the Priory near Warwick, knight and baronet, to Sir Simon Archer of Tanworth, knight, John Wightwick of the Inner Temple, London, esquire, and Francis Granmer of Kenilworth, gent: of the capital messuage in or near Warwick called the Priory, the manors of Lillington, Little Kington [Kineton], Combrook and Brookhampton, pastures and grounds called Northbrooks alias Norbrooks: the manor, rectory and advoson of Kingerby, Lincolnshire: the manors of Weston iuxta Baldock, Weston Argentine and Newberry, Hertfordshire: lands called Moorbarn alias Moorbarn Fields in the town and parish of Lutterworth, Leicestershire: lands called the Aspes and in Butlers Marston alias Marston Butler: lands in the parish of Rederith [Rotherhide], Surrey: lands in St Mary Cray, "Pawlyns Cray", Orpington and Chislehurst, Kent: rectories and advowsons of Leamington Priors and Lillington: all other lands, tenements, hereditaments, in Warwick St Mary and St Nicholas, Leamington Priors, Lillington, Snitterfield, Northbrooks alias Norbrooks, Heath, Tachbrook, Aspes, Great Kington, Little Kington, Combrook, Brookhampton, Butlers Marston alias Marston Butler, Kingerby, Lutterworth, Weston iuxta Baldock, Weston Argentine and Newberry: all to be held for a term of 28 years, in consideration of 10 shillings, in trust for a lease to be made by Archer, Wightwick and Granmer back to Sir Thomas for a term of 27 years 11 months.
