Description | Indenture of lease by Henry Wise of Hampton Court, Middlesex, esquire, to Nicholas Page of the parish of St George Hanover Square, Middlesex, gardener, of a newly built messuage, with brewhouse and stables, parcel of garden ground in the occupation of Nicholas Page, with carthouse or shed on it, containing 6 acres 38 poles in or near the Neat House Garden, with adjoining it the Lower Meadow containing 2 acres 2 roods 36 perches, part of a meadow next the Willow Walk, in the parish of St George Hanover Square, Middlesex, to be held from the feast of St Michael last past [29 Sep] for a term of 21 years at the annual rent of £45, with covenant by Nicholas Page to keep in good repair that part of the sluice (lately built at great expense by Henry Wise to drain the property of water) on his part of the premises, and share any expense with Sir Robert Grosvenor relating to it, and at the end of the terms to surrender the fabric, fittings and fixtures, including schedule, with plan of premises drawn in left hand margin. 18 Oct 19 Geo II 1745.
