DescriptionIndenture of assignment by Sir Thomas Janson of Tunbridge, Kent, baronet, and James Mollett of Knightsbridge, Middlesex, gent, to Thomas Povey of the parish of St Martin in the Fields, Middlesex, esquire, of title deeds and several pieces of land in the manor of Knightsbridge with Westburn Green, containing 11 acres, being part of the Squabbs and Middle Gore, lying between Knightsbridge and Kensington in the parish of St Margaret's, Westminster, Middlesex, in consideration of £400 paid to Janson and £100 to Mollett by Povey, to be held for the residue of a term of 31 years, with recitals of indenture of lease dated 26 May 1684 from Humphry Tomlinson to James Mollett, assignment of 25 Aug 1684 from Mollett to Bowles, and assignments of 19 Dec 1685 involving Mollett, Janson and Bowles.

Endorsed with assignment by Thomas Povey to George London and Henry Wise, both of London, gentlemen, in consideration of £251 2s 6d and a further sum of £130 secured by bond of the same date, 20 July 1692, with applied seal for Thomas Povey.
Also endorsed with numbers "5" (crossed out), "4" and "13".
