DescriptionIndentures of lease by James Mollett of Knightsbridge, Middlesex, gent, and Sir Thomas Janson of Tunbridge, Kent, baronet, to Bernard Underwood, citizen and draper, of a parcel of ground lying near the Gore in the parish of St Margaret, Westminster, and all buildings to be erected on it, containing 80 feet in front of the London Road, being 300 feet in depth (abutting the road to the north, grounds let to John Rossington and Charles Morgan to the east and west, and ground of James Mollett in the occupation of Mathew Child to the south), to be held from the feast of St Michael last past [29 Sep] for a term of 29 years, at the annual rent of one peppercorn, with a covenant by Rossington to build a substantial brick wall and a causeway in front of the premises and put up posts and rails and plant trees before 26 Oct 1686 March
