DescriptionLetters Patent of Queen Elizabeth, at the advice of William, Earl of Burghley and John Fortescue, granting George Chewne, esquire, the lease of a wood called Park Wood containing 137 acres and a wood called Abbey Wood alias Warden Wood containing 331 acres (once belonging to the dissolved Abbey of Warden) in Bedfordshire, to be held from the feast of St Michael next [29 Sep] for a term of 21 years at the annual rent of £44.
