DescriptionIndenture of lease by Sir Thomas Puckeringe of Warwick, baronet, to Sir Francis Anderson of Eyworth, Bedfordshire, of a wood called Park Wood containing 137 acres and a wood called Abbey Wood alias Warden Wood containing 331 acres (once part of the dissolved Abbey of Warden) in Bedfordshire, to be held for a term of 21 years from the feast of St Michael last past [29 Sep 1611] at the annual rent of £144, in consideration of £100, reciting a letters patent dated 11 Jan 36 Eli [1594] of a lease by the crown to Sir John Puckeringe and Lady Jane his wife for the term of their lives, and following their deaths to the life of Sir Thomas Puckeringe.
