| Description | Deed of grant of licence by Richard Rider, Vicar General, with the permission of Richard, Bishop of Lichfield and Coventry, to Matthew Wyse, esquire, of the use of a pew in the body of the parish church of Leek Wootton, between the seats of Edward Burbury and Abraham Jacket, in the 3rd seat from the front and the middle seat in the middle row opening into the middle aisle, measuring 7 feet by 3 feet, for the use of John Nicholls and his family and his successors as tenant of Matthew Wyse at the house and farm called Woodlow Farm, reciting that Wyse or his tenant paid taxes towards the upkeep of the church but had no pew there.
