DescriptionLetter (341/169): being sure of his understanding her not writing to him out of delicacy to avoid pressing herself on him at such a painful time for him, knowing of his warm heart, kindness and affection to his late departed friend: comfort of his having his children around him to show their dutiful attachment to him: thanks for his allowing Sir Henry to inform her of what was happening: his still suffering with his leg after his unlucky accident: her thinking of him and his devotion to Lady Howe: her hope of hearing from him: her eye problems, which are not encouraging.
