Not much news, but all well: information from headquarters of an attack due at the Tchernaya and their turnign out every morning an hour before sunrise: with its being quiet, lots of regimental and brigade drills: more races given by the Cavalry, one of which he won: having seen Gooch, out there for a month and encamped at a village called Kamara near the Tchernaya: unable to write any more with the sergeant waiting at the door for his letter.
