Having become proprietor of Hall Barn, the seat of Waller's ancestors, request for any notes or anecdotes about Waller the poet which may not have reached the public, and on the genealogy of the poet's predecessors and the origins of the family crest: having a beautiful marble bust of the poet by Rysbraeck and a portrait by Sir Godfrey Kneller: although making large additions to the house, his intending to preserve the "primitive character" of the original building and pleasure grounds.
