Recites 8-9 Nov 1792, John Wilkes of Bidford, innholder to Samuel Manly, sale of messuage, etc; death of Samuel (2 Sep 1842) & will (13 Sep 1832), leaving house where he dwelt to son-in law (T F Alcock) & daughter Elizabeth Manly, but not properly executed, so passed to W E Manly; Alcock had maintained Samuel Manly, and W E Manley now sells for £345, house in Bidford, formerly occupied by John Huxley, then John Hall, then Samuel Manly, with house of George Hale, then Solomon Wilkes now George Hardy (W); ground where a barn stood (E), with joint use of well, all bought by John Wilkes from John Baylis of Wixford, son of Thomas Baylis of Wixford, cordwainer. |
