| Description | Principally bundles of client’s papers, largely in draft form, similar to those in CR1596/1-989. It also includes bundles of assorted early draft deeds and other documents (CR0619/10; 26; 37; 90-92). The title given is normally the main place, together with the client’s name as on the original docket, (although these do not survive for many bundles). This deposit comprises part of the original Slatter, Son and More deposit at the Shakespeare Birthplace Record Office (mainly comprising SCLA, DR149), then transferred to Warwickshire CRO. They were numbered by bundle (1-92) on accession, arranged by place. The identifiable client's bundles have been rearranged by client (as for the docketed bundles in CR1596). One un-numbered bundle and some loose documents are numbered CR619/93-95. |
