He is writing to let his father know that he is back in his old lodgings after his stay in London; he is glad to be back after the noise of London, the only quiet he got was on Sundays which he spent with his aunt and uncle; Mr Stanley's horse is injured; he is happy to say that Mr Newson reports well of him during his stay in London and hopes that this will please his father.
