Description | Feoffment conveying for £3 9s from Thomas Pargeter of Cradley, Worcestershire, baker, (eldest son of Thomas Pargeter late of Cradley, baker, deceased and brother of John Pargeter deceased), to Nathaniel Cox of Cradley, nailer, a piece of ground containing 87 yards situated in Cradley and a barn now or lately standing upon the said piece of ground on which land Nathaniel Cox has built a small tenement. The piece of ground is bordered on one side by a tenement belonging to John Townshend now in the occupation of William Rose, on another side by a garden belonging to William Laugher, on another side by a lane leading from the Turnpike Road to Cradley Park and on the other side by land belonging to the said Thomas Pargeter. The land being conveyed is part of a close of land bought by Thomas Pargeter deceased from Samuel Forrest and being copyhold was surrendered to the use of Thomas Pargeter for his life and then to John Pargeter deceased, second son of the said Thomas Pargeter deceased.
