William Smith of Leamington Priors, innkeeper purchased the Star Inn for £350 paying £35 deposit. William Smith has since sold the premises to Ann Wrighton of Whitnash, widow for £360. Ann Wrighton pays £315 to Amos Ball, William Thomas Jaggard and Walter Michael Ball, which together with the £35 deposit makes the full purchase money of £350, and £10 to William Smith. They convey to her the Star Inn now in the tenure of Ann Houghton.
