DescriptionBetween John Dawkins of Leamington Prios, carpenter; and John Gilks of Leamington Priors, wheelwright. John Dawkins was indebted to John Gilks for £190, and John Gilks is liable to pay £84 to the Leamington Bank in respect of bills of exchange held by the bank. John Gilks demanded payment of the £190 or security for it, and also a security and indemnity for the £84, however John Dawkins was unable to pay either of the sums and so offered security for them instead. John Dawkins mortgages to John Gilks two messuages and a blacksmith's shop in Farnborough, with the yards, gardens and outbuildings belonging to them, occupied by John Chater as tenant (the other is unoccupied), and all other messuages and hereditaments in Farnborough belonging to John Dawkins
