DescriptionBetween Hugh Birch of Moston, Manchester, Lancs, yeoman; Ursula his wife, daughter of John Samon, late of Farnborough, yeoman, deceased; John Freckleton the younger of Farnborugh, yeoman, deceased; and Richard Hickson of Farnborough, shepherd. Hugh and Ursula Birch had granted to Richard Hickson a messuage in Farnborough, occupied by Richard Hickson and a close belonging to the messuage on the 13 July 1650 [see CR0457/13/28]; and on the same day they conveyed to John Freckleton two closes of pasture and meadow ground, inclosed, in Farnborough, previously occupied by John Samon and then by John Freckleton, and adjoining the lands of Jerome Raleigh, gent, on the west side, the lands of George Brocke on the north side and the lands of Edward Atkins on the south and east sides. A fine was now to be levied on the properties to further strengthen the two conveyances.
Enclosed: Final concord between John Freckleton, Richard Hickson (querents) and Hugh Birch and Ursula his wife (deforciants), regarding one messuage, one garden, one orchard, six acres of land, two acres of meadow and six acres of pasture in Farnborough (Michaelmas Term, 1650)
