| Description | He was an Air-Raid Warden and was killed in Queen’s Road (near Marlborough Road, junction) in the air-raid of May 16/17, 1941. He had a butcher’s shop on the corner of Marlborough Road and Queen’s Road. He was also responsible for the building of the Noorland Flats in Queen’s Road, at the junction with Victoria Street. |
